About the Author
Patricia Barbato is author of Inspire Your Career: Strategies for Success in your First Years at Work. Patricia is passionate about mentoring and helping people achieve their greatest potential. Patricia’s career accelerated quickly. By the age of 30, Patricia was a partner in a professional services firm, Chair of the Board for a children’s charity and a teacher at a local college. Ten years later she became President and CEO of a $40M healthcare organization.
Patricia has mentored hundreds of people on both a formal and informal basis. She has led numerous interactive, group career mentoring sessions for people who are just starting, or early on in their career path. She has received a great deal of feedback on her impact and influence on the success of the individuals she has mentored.
In addition to here professional work and Board involvement, Patricia has been a teacher in many capacities. She has taught accounting and taxation courses at the college and professional accreditation level. She is a certified fitness instructor and has led classes and motivated individuals for over twenty-five years. She is a certified meditation instructor and in addition to teaching people how to meditate, she has led courses such as ‘Awake and Work’ and ‘Meditation in Action’. She has a black belt in Kung Fu kickboxing.
